The Folk Flower designs are all inspired by ethnographic images and designs that I have fallen in love with during my explorations at the library, art museums, through books and firsthand during my travels to Poland, Hungary and Romania. The embroidery work found on regional costumes in Poland and Hungary especially inspire the Folk Flower collection.

The original paintings are created using Arches watercolor paper, gouache paint and Staedtler pigment liners.

Original art from the Folk Flower series are reproduced as prints on high quality Hahnemule Fine Art Paper and printed with archival Epson Ultrachrome Inks. Acid free mattes and backing board are included. These high quality prints will not fade over time! Each print is signed by the artist. Please keep in mind, the prints are print to order so it may take a little extra time to fulfill an order.
