The folk flower designs are all inspired by ethnographic images and designs that I have fallen in love with during my explorations at the library, at museums, through books and firsthand during my travels to Poland, Hungary and Romania. The embroidery work found on regional costumes in Poland and Hungary especially inspired this collection of work.

The original paintings were created using Arches watercolor paper, gouache paint and Staedtler pigment liners.

Cards in their envelopes measure 5 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches.

The brightly colored designs are printed on cream-colored card stock and come with a cream-colored envelope. Cards are packaged in a clear, protective, biodegradable sheath.
